Jo & Rodney started dancing together in 1997 and between them have over 75 years combined dance experience. Their first dance competition was in 1998 at the Wintersun Festival in Australia and after tasting success competed extensively for the next 10 years.
When not holding down day jobs, travelling around Australasia for their teaching and judging commitments, or running their charitable Dance Trust they can be found in Wellington, New Zealand teaching at their dance studio - FEET with Heat 4dance Studio.

Jo and Rodney are also New Zealand’s first and currently only professionally qualified Rock’n’Roll & Lindy Hop dance teachers - attaining:
New Zealand Federal Association of Teachers of Dancing Inc (NZFATD) - Licentiate & Associate levels Rock’n’Roll branch
Australian Rock'n'Roll Dancesport Council Inc (ARRDC) - Licentiate & Affiliate levels in Jitterbug / Lindy Hop
Accredited members of the New Zealand Association Of Dance Teachers (NZADT)
